Analytics adoption across industries is on the rise as enterprises focus on operational resilience, democratization of insights, and data-driven decision-making. Thus, D&A service providers, including IT/BPO firms, consulting players, and pure-play analytics providers, are offering a rich set of Advanced Analytics and Insights (AA&I) capabilities, domain expertise, and off-the-shelf accelerators to help enterprises reduce time-to-value and achieve direct business outcomes. They are also proactively investing in advanced technologies, including computer vision, IoT, and NLP, to deliver advanced insights. Considering talent scarcity in these emerging areas, service providers have invested in in-house talent building initiatives, certifications, and academic collaborations.
In this research, we analyze the global AA&I service provider landscape and position the providers on Everest Group’s AA&I Services PEAK Matrix® 2021. We also share our findings and inputs on the providers’ strengths and areas of improvement.
