The number of enterprises undertaking digital transformation has surged in the aftermath of the pandemic. Organizations have been forced to rethink their strategic priorities and have realized that traditional or legacy business models pose an existential threat. As a result, many are striving to become digital-first businesses to stay ahead of the curve.
Everest Group’s market study and interactions indicate that organizations that are well down the digital transformation path are better positioned to respond to business disruptions. However, this kind of transformation cannot succeed without an enterprise-wide digital adoption strategy. We use the term 360-degree digital adoption to refer to a state in which digital adoption spans the entire organization and is a strategic enabler of transformation. We believe that Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) are key to empowering enterprises' digital adoption to achieve superior business outcomes, business resilience, growth, and agility.
In this report, we investigate the need for 360⁰ digital adoption and understand how DAPs enable this transformation through interviews with four enterprises that started their DAP journeys a couple of years ago. The report will enable readers to identify the fundamental building blocks for achieving desired business outcomes and transformation.
