In recent years, enterprises have been undertaking digital transformation initiatives to improve their business models and operational efficiencies. However, many of them are realizing lower-than-expected benefits from these initiatives. While the reasons behind this value leakage are many, firms that simply equate digital transformation with technology change are more susceptible to failure. Shortfalls in transforming operating models in line with broader digital transformation initiatives result in siloed operations structures, limited process reengineering, and improper response to business changes. Enterprises require a technology transformation coupled with operating model transformation.

In this report, we examine how organizations can transform into composable enterprises by evaluating, redesigning, and realigning their operations across infrastructure, core systems, and process layers.

Enterprises wanting to maximize the benefits from their cloud and datacenter transformation initiatives will benefit from this research.
