Low-code platforms solve the great divide between unrelenting business needs and restricted IT bandwidth to deliver. However, as with any technology, enterprises need to use them wisely to derive maximum value. The low-code adoption journey has just started for enterprises, and successful enterprise-grade adoption depends on selecting the right platform for the right use case, keeping in mind the cost and benefits of adoption. The pandemic and the subsequent emergence of remote working models have paved the way for low-code adoption, and the market is likely to continue to grow at a staggering rate of 24-26% in the medium term.

Notably, low code is transforming software development in numerous ways. It has increased the number of applications that exist globally, and, over the next four to five years, 60% of all applications will be developed using low-code platforms. Low code enables analysts at every level to create real-time solutions, not just impacting them individually, but their teams and overall organizations. This advantage, along with the availability of traditional developers and IT to fill in gaps in cases where there are no APIs or plug-ins available, is a recipe for success.
