Overview

On February 11, 2016, Wipro announced the acquisition of HealthPlan Services (HPS), an IT and Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) provider to U.S. payers and managed care organizations, for US$460 million. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, HPS employs over 2,000 associates, who will join the Wipro fold. HPS provides sales, benefits administration, retention, reform, and technology solutions.
