Learning Experience Platform (LXP) Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment with Technology Vendor Landscape 2022
Sep. 22, 2022In a hybrid world, the L&D function has an important role to play in engaging employees and improving employee experience. Today, organizations realize there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning, and learning efforts need to be personalized to align employee and organization goals. Taking a cue, providers have come up with solutions such as Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs) – user-centric learning software that consolidate content from diverse sources at one place and deliver a personalized learning experience to users. LXPs also help talent managers foster a culture of continuous learning throughout their organizations and transition to a more data-driven and skills-based learning space. Several types of vendors operate in the LXP market, including next-generation start-ups and traditional learning management system players, and the technology is gaining significant ground worldwide. Its merits span business functions and verticals and include streamlining of employee onboarding, employee learning and skill development, regulatory compliance, customer and extended enterprise education, and sales enablement. In this report, we assess 15 LXP vendors and position them on Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix® as Leaders, Major Contenders, and Aspirants based on their vision & capability and market impact. The research will help buyers select the right-fit technology vendors for their needs, while technology vendors will be able to benchmark themselves against each other.
